here, let me share a funny story that happened right in my office. well, in my office, we all have our own phones but lines are shared. and so one fine day, this happened.

kring kring kring kring.
me: hello, good morning, may i speak to mary please.
two voices suddenly replied.
mary + jane: hello!
mary: hello!
jane: hello!
mary: yes?
jane: huh?
me: hellooo. may i speak to mary please?
jane: yes?
mary: yes?
-i was waiting for someone to put down the phone-
jane: hello?
mary: hello. yes?
they kept on hello-ing to each other and poor me was ignored. but i didnt give up.
me: heloo, may i speak to mary please?
jane: ma-
jane + mary: HAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAA!
they suddenly realised that they were talking to each other!!
mary: hahahahaha, that was an embarassing moment.

hahahaaa! okayy, stories always dont sound funny when u try explaining them. but you know, it was funny when it happened. ahh, at least it was damn funny to me, i think it's worth announcing to my whole world.

work this week was pretty awesome! really busy week and lots of calling and emailing. my office telephone's my new love. because i get to call hot prison officers! hahaha, yeah right. i wish. but the people who pick up my calls all have very nice voices. they always sound so happy, so friendly, so professional. wonder how they do it. quek told me once that when you smile while talking to somebody on the phone, the other on the other side can feel it. awwwww, everyone must be smiling while talking to me on the phone ((:

oh well, at least i like to think of it that way.
